Guêpière or Bustier?

A bustier is a feminine garment worn close to the body, often strapless, which can be worn independantly. Unlike a guêpière which aims to sculpt the silhouette and highlight the bodies curves, a bustier is often lighter, less restrictive, and can be worn more casually. In addition, a bustier does not necessarily have the function of supporting the chest, which is the goal of a guêpière. Lastly, a guêpière is often longer than a bustier, stopping at the hips or lower, while a bustier usuqlly covers the upper body.

Guêpière or Corset?
