LE SAVIEZ-VOUS
The Garçonne bra was designed in the 1920s at the request of Gabrielle Chanel. The androgynous style of the time wanted women to hide their shapes with low waists and long silhouettes. The chest was no exception and Marguerite Cadolle developed a bandeau, sculpting a very slight breast shape, so as not to completely flatten the chest. The model was relaunched in 2004 by Patricia Cadolle.
