LE SAVIEZ-VOUS
The Fortuny pleat is a technique patented in 1909 in Venice by the inventor of the same name, Mariano Fortuny, which requires extremely meticulous work in permanent and irregular pleats. It is a wavy fabric which has the specificity of following perfectly the female body curves and keeping impeccable folds for decades. The technique is so precious that it has remained a secret since its invention.
