Bathrobe

Six generations of corsetières perpetuate the "Cadolle touch" here: that unique link between technicality and refinement, passed down from mother to daughter since the invention of the corselet-bra by Herminie Cadolle.

The bathrobe is distinguished by its ample and enveloping cut, fastened by a tie belt at the waist, for a silhouette that is both comfortable and flattering. Our selection offers these bathrobes in silk and cotton, in the House's proprietary custom colors, a palette chosen in the workshop that distinguishes each piece from standardized production. Silk provides a fluidity and a precious drape, for a bathrobe that wears like an extension of the most delicate lingerie; cotton, on the other hand, favors the softness and absorption of a natural material, ideal for stepping out of the bath.

Some models are enhanced with lace trim on the collar or cuffs, a discreet marriage between the comfort of the bathrobe and the couture delicacy that distinguishes Cadolle. This attention to detail, inherited from the couture gesture rather than standardized ready-to-wear, distinguishes every Cadolle bathrobe from an ordinary piece.

This collection is aimed at women seeking a daily ritual imbued with elegance: a cotton bathrobe for the morning or coming out of the bath, a silk model for more precious evenings. For women seeking a perfect fit, made-to-measure remains the ultimate expression of Cadolle's expertise. Each made-to-measure piece is crafted in our Parisian workshops, where measurements and fittings allow the cut to be adjusted to the exact morphology of each client.

Choosing and caring for your bathrobe:

The choice of a bathrobe depends primarily on the desired use: cotton for its absorbency, particularly suitable for stepping out of the bath; silk for its fluidity, to be preferred for a more precious moment, at the end of the day. A sufficiently loose cut at the shoulders and waist ensures optimal freedom of movement.

For care, silk requires gentle washing, exclusively by hand, while cotton can withstand machine washing at a low temperature. In both cases, avoiding the tumble dryer and prolonged exposure to the sun helps maintain the bathrobe's shape and brilliance over washes.
